Tunnel of Eupalinus in Samos: Considered to be one of the eight wonders of the ancient world, the Tunnel of Eupalinus today is a distinguishing feature and a much frequented tourist spot in Samos. It is a water tunnel that used to be the middle section of a huge aqueduct named after its architect, Eupalinus who was a famous engineer of the ancient world. It is located on the mountainslopes of Panagia Spilani and was built in the 6th Century B.C during the reign of Polycrates.
