Samos: Platanakia Samos

Platanakia beach Samos: Platanakia is a well-known beach in Samos, about 15 km northwest of Vathy. It is surrounded by rocky cliffs with a vast expanse of plantation and tall pine trees that create a fine shade during the hot summer days. The beach stretches for many meters covered with white sand and pebbles in some parts. The crystal waters witness the uniqueness of this place that rarely gets crowded. It is small and has few tourist facilities. Platanakia is ideal to enjoy some privacy in an exotic location. The beach is located on the way from Kokkari to Agios Konstantinos.
