The hotel " Paradise" was built and opened for the first time in 1990. The region where it is located is named "PERIVOLIA", meaning gardens. This gives the explanation of why today, 15 years later, the hotel is surrounded by much greenery that can be enjoyed from the balconies. The family Tzivanakis before creating this enterprise headed up by the tireless Manolis Tzivanakis, dealt with various other businesses, such as bakery, confectionery, gift shop and souvenirs, and a small guesthouse as well, one of the first that functioned in Samos. However, after building the hotel, all the members of family now deal exclusively with this business. Thus up to today, it remains a hospitable family hotel - something that customers enjoy and appreciate from the first to the last day of their stay. This is also proven by the many repeating customers who return to stay at the hotel. These customers come from all parts of world, trusting that they will pass unforgettable holidays. The hotel, while keeping its traditional character, is equipped and modernized almost each year, trying to provide the best quality service to all customers. Today, four members of the family, Manolis, Fofo, Akis, and Juanita work twenty-four hours per day near each visitor and, with pleasure, help the customers to enjoy their stay in an absolutely quiet and clean environment. At the same time, the Tzivanakis family deals with the amateur production of wine of very good quality, something that a lot of visitors have the joy to enjoy and even take with them when they leave, as one more souvenir along with the unforgettable memories of having visited the beautiful island of Samos. Apart from the central building with its 48 rooms, the hotel has a large swimming pool in a splendid space that is absolutely surrounded by greenery. Sitting in this space, guests may enjoy anything they wish - drink, snack, or meal. They have the impression of finding themselves a very long way from the city because of the calm and beauty that exists in the space. There is also a splendid garden, welcoming everyone with hundreds flowers, reminding all that they indeed find themselves in a paradise. The hotel is accessible to most customers as it is situated only one kilometer from the harbor, fourteen kilometers from the airport of the island, and just a few meters from the central bus station. The hotel serves tourists from distant countries such as the USA, Australia, and Japan. The hotel is also very popular in England, Holland and Belgium, from where most customers return. The last few years have seen increases from other countries such as Germany, Sweden, Finland, and Italy.
