Lesvos: Kalonis Lesvos

Kalonis village Lesvos: Kaloni has about 1600 inhabitants and is located on the gulf of the same name, in the central part of Lesvos.

It is a large fishing centre with numerous remains of ancient, medieval and Byzantine buildings. Kaloni has many shops and all kinds of accommodations as well as restaurants, taverns, cafes and bars. A little southern from the village visitors will find the Skala Kalonis, a popular organised beach.
