Founded in 1972, this museum-library is housed in a large two-storied building, in the village of Varia, a suburb of Mytilene.
Among the books of the library one will find books illustrated by Chagall, Matisse and Picasso, books with classical Greek themes and a book by Hesiod.
Works of Theophilos, Chagall, Giacometti, Le Corbusier, Miro, Picasso, and various other famous international and Greek painters are also exhibited. |
