Founded in 1972, this museum-library is housed in a large two-storied building, in the village of Varia, a suburb of Mytilene.
Among the books of the library one will find books illustrated by Chagall, Matisse and Picasso, books with classical Greek themes and a book by Hesiod.
Works of Theophilos, Chagall, Giacometti, Le Corbusier, Miro, Picasso, and various other famous international and Greek painters are also exhibited. | |
This museum was founded in 1965 by Teriade (Stratis Eleftheriades).
It houses 86 paintings by Theophilos, from the private collection of Teriade.
It is located in the district of Varia, in Mytilene.
