Lemnos Villages: Myrina village in Lemnos Myrina village Lemnos: Myrina is the capital and main port of Lemnos. It has a population of about 4500 inhabitants and stretches around a bay. An imposing Venetian castle overlooks the town which is surrounded by massive formations of volcanic rock. At first sight, this town does not seems very attractive but, after the first impression, this visitors will end up charmed by the old neoclassical mansions, Ottoman buildings and fountains, traditional houses, narrow streets and modern constructions that are composing Myrina.
