General information

Kornos village Lemnos: Kornos is one of the most beautiful villages of Lemnos. It is built amphitheatrically and lies 8 km north east of Myrina, the main town. It has about 350 inhabitants who are involved in agriculture. The village consists of narrow alleys, neoclassical mansions and lovely churches (such as the ones of Agios Andreas and the Assumption of the Virgin). It is famous for the natural springs and for having the best traditional pastries and sweets in Lemnos. For swimming visit the sandy beaches of Mourgouflou. Taverns and cafes can be found at Kornos but no accommodation is available.
