Lemnos Zematas beach

Zematas beach Lemnos: Zematas beach is located 40 km north east of Myrina, the capital of Lemnos, near Ancient Kaviros. One can travel through the ring road towards the northeastern region and the main locality on the way to the beach is the village of Kontopouli. It is one of the most isolated and mesmerizing beaches in Lemnos. One can enjoy hours of revitalizing and undisturbed swimming in this beautiful beach.

Visitors will be thrilled to watch the stunning sunset on Zematas the full view of which is clearly visible from this place. The beach has golden, fine sand lined with volcanic boulders. There is also the sanctuary of Kaviros and the village Kalliopi where horse races are held. The lakes of Aliki and Hortarolimni, the only lakes in the island are also near to the Zematas beach.
