Even though the travel through the dirt road is little bit tiresome, it is quite worth a try.
Kokkina is one of the best unknown beaches of Lemnos. It provides a wonderful feeling with its thin reddish sand (from where it got its name "kokkina", meaning "red" in Greek) and turquoise waters.
Enjoy the calmness and tranquility here far away from the usual crowd. The terrain here is somewhat rocky and hilly. Patches of greeneries are also seen here and there.
