Travel to Lemnos, Greece: Travel information on the airports, the flights and the ferries
Lemnos can be reached by plane or by ferry.
 Travel there - Flights
The "Hephaistos" National Airport of Lemnos, 22 km from Myrina, receives regular flights from Athens and Thessaloniki. The flight time takes about 1 hour. There are no charter flights from Lemnos to abroad.
Travel there - Ferries
There are also normal ferries that connect Lemnos with the port of Lavrio, to the south of Athens, close to Cape Sounio and the trip takes about 10 hours. Lemnos is also connected with ferries to Thessaloniki and Kavala, Northen Greece.
A few ferry itineraries are also held between Lemnos and a couple of other Aegean islands, such as Lesvos and Agios Efstratios.
