The island of Lemnos is not connected with Piraeus, as most Greek islands do, but with the port of Lavrio, to the south of Athens. Three itineraries leave every week from Lavrio to Lemnos and the trip takes about 10 hours.
Lemnos is also connected by normal ferries with the port of Thessaloniki (about 9 hours) and Kavala, Northern Greece (about 4 hours). |
