We had a warm welcome and the apartment was just as it said it would be.We explored most of the island by car and were always happy to return to the beach at agios ioanni,it really is a lovely place.We would certainly advise on car hire as it is a steep climb from the beach.It is such a great view... I stayed at the Meltemi apartments in May 2009 and want to say what a magnificent place it is. The hosts (Vasillious and his wife) are extremely friendly and were extremely helpful in advising us what to do and where to go. I will definitely return there soon.
