My favourite beach on Ikaria was Nas. Altought we were much tired to go there in the first time (we lost our way and signs were inadequate), we eventually loved this beach. Messakti is probably one of the longest beaches in Ikaria. Extremely clean, like all the beaches on the island, and with great shallow waters. I don't think beaches is the best Ikaria has to offer. I think the best feature of the island is the green landscape and the small villages. However, if I had to choose one beach, I would say Kambos. It is very long and with sand. Nice water and generally quiet. Do not expect to find wild beach... More >
