General information

Armenistis Village Ikaria: The small coastal village of Armenistis has a population of only 70 inhabitants. It lies 50 km north west of Agios Kirikos, the capital of Ikaria and west of Evdilos village.

It has a picturesque little port, a lovely parish church dedicated to Agios Nikolaos and small whitewashed houses. This lovely fishing village has become the major tourist centre of Ikaria, but is still very authentic and has managed to keep its relaxed and traditional atmosphere. Accommodations, cafes and taverns are available in Armenistis. The beaches in the surrounding area are some of the best of the island.
