It is located 50 km north west of a Agios Kyrikos, the capital of Ikaria.

It is protected from the strong winds and the warm golden sand along with the crystal blue waters creates an inviting atmosphere. This memorable and picturesque place offers the possibility to spend the evening in its traditional taverns and cafes as well. Armenistis beach is reachable by car, and this special endless beach with pebbles and sand also has some basic facilities for tourists, such as umbrellas for rent.

Although it is a place with many tourists, the locals have managed to keep it unspoilt.
