Transportation is limited in Fourni, due to the small size and the remote location of the island. There is a basic road network in the main island of Fourni, but the landscape is mountainous, so the road has ups and downs. Also the road is narrow and winding, so drivers have to be careful.
Most visitors in Fourni rent a motorbike to move around, or they take the small bus from the port that goes to few beaches around the island. There are also small boats that connect the main port of Fourni to the remote island of Thimena, the second inhabited island of the complex.
