Chios: Magemena Chios

Magemena Beach Chios: Magemena is a popular beach in Volissos, located 40km southwest of Chios Town, between Managros and Limnia beach. This is a large cove with thick sand and deep blue crystalline waters. It is the green surrounding that leads many tourists to Magemena. The beach is organized with umbrellas and sundecks and a beach bar offers snacks and cold drinks all day long.

Several accommodations are available around the area. The beach stretches for many meters remaining one of the most frequented beaches visited by tourists and locals who live in the nearby villages. The beach is surrounded by many taverns, cafeterias and tourist shops.
