Chios: Gerita Chios

Gerita Beach Chios: One of the most isolated beaches of Chios island is Gerita, located 40km northwest of Chios Town. The area is surrounded by rocky hills covered with tall pine trees and lush bushes, an unspoilt environment. Due to its isolated location, it is really quiet and peaceful. Gerita is protected from the strong winds, thus it becomes ideal for swimming. It is not organized like the close beach of Magemena and has no tourist facilities. As it is rarely frequented, Gerita is a perfect beach to enjoy some isolation.
