Simi Ferries: Information about the Ferries to Simi Ferries
!!! All the information bellow may not be accurate as the schedules change year to year and sometimes even month to month. Please check the online database here !!!

The locations from which the island of Simi can be reached –Rhodes and Athens- can usually be accessed by air.

However, the travel to Simi must continue by ferry, since access is possible only by sea. Luckily, there are several good available options in these terms.

For example, in case of parting from Rhodes, the harbour of Mandraki counts on a morning bus service that leaves visitors on the commercial part of the same harbour, just in time to get the ferry to Simi.

Hydrofoil

Apart from the ferries, there are some other related options, such as the hydrofoils, in which case the trip takes an hour; or the high speed catamarans, taking just 45 minutes. In the case of the regular ferries, the trip from Rhodes to Simi takes 2 hours.

The first ferry usually departs between 8 to 9 am. It is also possible to take a day-trip boat. Usually they leave Mandraki at 9am and they work from April to October; but keep in mind that this service has certain restrictions when it comes to luggage.

In fact, Simi is quite well connected with ferry services that allow these kinds of trips, as well as some visits to other groups of islands, such as the Cycladic, and the Eastern Aegean.
