It is built amphitheatrically on the slopes of Mount Acramitis, the second highest mountain of the island, offering a breathtaking view from the surrounded island areas. It is located 69 kilometers away from the capital of Rhodes. It is a well preserved village focusing mostly on the local tradition and customs.
