Rhodes: Paradisi Rhodes

Paradisi in Rhodes, Dodecanese Greece: The lovely village of Paradisi is one of the most attractive and charming villages of the island. It is a paradise, just as its name indicates, located 16 km of the capital in the northwest coast of the island. The name "Paradise" was derived by the beautiful gardens with the exotic plants that Arabs once brought to the village.

This village has 2,500 inhabitants but during the summer months it gets very crowded due to the fact that the airport is only 1 -2 km far. The nearby beach is a developed tourist settlement with numerous local shops, traditional houses and several buildings that were renovated through the years.
