Mesanagros in Rhodes, Dodecanese Greece: Mesanagros is near Lachania, a village located 87 km from the town, hidden between the mountains in 400 meters altitude. It is a historic and privileged village that has been saved from invasions while the surrounded villages are a cluster of ruins.

In the area of Mesanagros, there are many caves and countless objects were found in the excavations which bear the art and the civilization of the people. In the middle of this village, there is the temple of the Annunciation of the Virgin built in 13th century. It is the village with the most monasteries and churches on the island.
