Rhodes: Massari Rhodes

Massari in Rhodes, Dodecanese Greece: Massari village is located on the south eastern coast of the island. The access is easy from Rhodes- Lindos highway. It is surrounded by lush green vegetation and beautiful mountainous landscape. Walking around the village visitors see the simplicity expressed by the olive forests and the whole environment in the area.

This place is not known for its tourist development or activity but for the serenity and the peacefulness it offers to the visitors as well as for the religious sights such as the church of St. John and the Monastery of Kameiri from the Byzantine period. The festival of the Metamoprhosis of Sotiros (the Saviour) on 6 August is an interesting event for Massari village.
