Rhodes Vagies 01 Vagies beach Rhodes: The small and picturesque bay of Vagies is mostly known under the name of the bay of Anthony Quinn since the famous actor came here to film the movie “Guns of Navarone”.

It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island of Rhodes and is lying 3 kilometres from Faliraki Beach and 15 kilometres south-east from the City of Rhodes.
The beach is surrounded by beautiful rocks and has crystalline waters that shimmer under the sun.
 
A jetty for small crafts is available near the beach as well as a small tavern serving fresh fish and delicious appetizers.

The place is ideal for scuba diving because of the extreme beauty of its underwater world and cleanliness of the sea. More beaches can be found on the coastline of Rhodes, some completely organised and some left to their natural beauty.

The most famous are Ixia Beach, Haraki Beach, Lindos Beach, Kolymbia Beach, the beach close to the City of Rhodes, Masari Beach, Pefkos Beach and of course many more.
