Rhodes Lindos Beach (Limanaki Agios Pavlos)

General information

The little bay of Agios Pavlos (Saint Paul) lies 48 km south of Rhodes town and close to the ancient acropolis of Lindos. According to a local myth, the bay owes its name to the lovely white chapel standing on the beach which is dedicated to Saint Paul, who came here in 43 AD and preached Christianity. Golden sand and pebbles compose the beach where sunbeds are available for rent. Rocks are boarding the beach, giving the possibility to dive into the clear turquoise waters. This is one of the most beautiful beach locations in Rhodes and it is considered by many as one of the most impressive beaches in Greece.

Will enjoy more in low season
This one of the most beautiful beaches in Rhodes, my friends! It took its name because this is where Saint Paul landed on Rhodes to preach Christianity. This lovely beach with the soft sand gets very busy in high season, but if you go in early June like we did, you will love it even more. Busy crowds won't disturb you, only few tourists and locals will be on the beach and all the umbrellas will be yours. You will get what I mean when you go there. Hopefully for you, soon :-)
