Kathara beach Rhodes: The beach of Kathara (meaning "clean" in Greek) is located 13 kilometers from the town of Rhodes and a few hundred meters far from Faliraki. The beach honors its name with the magnificent sandy beach, surrounded by rough rocks and the crystal clear and shallow waters of the sea, forming an ideal environment for all ages, especially the children.

It is nicely organized offering the best of the facilities such as umbrellas, sundecks, shower, and phone. Despite the fact that the beach is situated close to Fliraki, still it doesn't get very crowded offering their visitors an oasis of peace. The beach is easily accessible from the town of Rhodes with frequent bus routes, or else by car or taxi. There is a taxi station in the area of Faliraki.
