This one of the most beautiful beaches in Rhodes, my friends! It took its name because this is where Saint Paul landed on Rhodes to preach Christianity. This lovely beach with the soft sand gets very busy in high season, but if you go in early June like we did, you will love it even more. Busy... More >

The trip to Rhodes was very long (18 hours by ferry) but fortunately there were no delays. Last summer, we had travelled by ferry again and the departure was 2 hours late. We had been more tired of the delay than the trip. Fortunately, this time all went good. We love all the greek islands but... More >

I am in my 60's and therefore I prefer mostly te village life and no music bars and discos, rather a relaxed nightlife. We stayed in Afandou village on our vacations to Rhodes, about two years ago. The beaches was beautiful and pretty crowded in late August. People in taverns and gift shops... More >

Faliraki beach was toooo large and pure sandy. We stayed in a hotel there and had views to the beach anytime. I could see that most time it was crowded, from early in the morning till almost midnight. Some beach bars stayed open all night long but I didn't like that kind of nightlife, as only... More >

Afandou was a long and nice beach, with clear water and nice taverns close to it. Our hotel was there and we were frequent visitors. No problem with Afandou, everything was fine. However, if you have children, it would be better to find a more child-friendly beach, because a lot of windsurfing was... More >

I liked Pefki beach, we were going there to swim very often because our hotel was close. Not many special things, just a clean strech of sand and blue waters. However, I believe Rhodes has many more nice beaches, such as Faliraki or Tsambika, with more facilities and conveniences. Pefki is OK but... More >
