 The Secretariat of Ecology and Environment of Rhodes Working Centre and the Association for the Protection of the Environment of Rhodes are organizing a tree planting program in the forest areas that were burnt in last years' fires. The citizens and visitors to Rhodes are invited to help this project.
As the organizers say, the island must become all green again and this will be the best gift for the generations to come. On Sunday, February 15th, 9 o'clock in the morning, buses will be at the entrance of the Prefecture of Rhodes to tranfer people to the burnt areas. Everyone is welcome to help.
