Day 1
Symi is one of the most picturesque islands of the Dodecanese. It is a family island which offers great landscapes, a peaceful atmosphere and a really beautiful town.
The main village of the island of Symi is Gialos. The village is a real jewel of neo-classical architecture and was built climbing amphitheatrically up the hill. The island is world famous for the natural sponges. This resource made of Symi a rich island and the wealth can be seen on the fine architectural details.
The boat will also stop in the bay of Panormitis. We will visit the 17th century monastery of Agios Michael. The monastery attracts pilgrims and tourists to admire the trasures dedicated to the saint.

Timetable
At 10:50 we arrive at the beautiful bay of Panormitis, where you can see the 17th century's monastery of Saint Michael and admire the treasures dedicated to the saint for his miracles.
At 13:00 we arrive at Symi, where you can visit the main city of Gialos with its neo-classical houses climbing amphitheatrically up the hill. Being world famous for its natural sponges has brought Symi a great wealth which is reflected in its local architecture and culture.
At 16:00 we take the way back.
