Helidonia in Rhodes
Helidonia is a tavern-ouzeri located right on the beach of Afandou. It serves local cuisine, like pitaroudia (chick pea croquettes), kapamas (goat baked in oven with beans or chickpeas) and the soupiorizo (risotto with squid). The restaurant opened in 1960 and since then the Perou family welcomes guests in this friendly environment. House wine, ouzo and other beverages are also available in Helidonia as well as fine desserts.
