Psili Ammos Beach Patmos: This fine beach is located 10 km south-west of Chora, the capital of Patmos. Psili Ammos (Fine Sand) is one of the best beaches of Patmos. It is a picturesque cove with pure golden sand and sweeping dunes, with many tamarisk trees providing shadow.

The clear azure waters is the main attraction of Psili Ammos. To reach this small paradise, visitors can take one of the boats leaving regularly from Skala, or take the bus until Diakofti and then walk for about 30 minutes.

Due to the strong religious background of Patmos, nudism is not entirely accepted. However, with the growth of tourism, some things have changed and the signs are often ignored. Today, naturists gather on the far south end of the beach.
