Patmos Beaches: Lambi beach in Patmos Greece
Patmos Lambi 01 Lambi Beach Patmos: Lambi is a long beach with shady tamarisks and is famous for its rare multicoloured pebbles. There used to be a huge amount of pebbles, but being so beautiful, it is difficult to resist not to pick some as a souvenir.

The name Lambi means "shining" as the sun reflects against the beautiful stones and the crystal waters of the bay.
There is a taverna on the beach serving fresh fish and a variety of other traditional dishes.

It is reachable by boat from Skala, by road -if you have a private means of transportation-, or on foot from Kambos (it takes about 25 minutes). Being there, you can also visit the remains of Platys Gialos and the church of Metamorphosi dating to the 16th century, considered one of the most important churches of the Patmos.
