Patmos: Agios Nikolaos Patmos

Agios Nikolaos Beach Patmos: Agios Nikolaos is a rocky beach on the north coast of Patmos, at 12 km from the Town.

The beach is named after the church of the area, Agios Nikolaos Evdilos or Avdelos, and so is the village it belongs to. So, don't miss the chance of visiting both the village and the church, which is one of the oldest on the island. There is a small shelter where caiques and small boats can moor. It is said that in case of danger, the saint protects the boats and a light visible only from the sea shows the way to the shelter.
