Patmos Island Greece is part of the Dodecanese.
For many years, Patmos was a place of pilgrimage
for Catholics and Orthodox because it where Saint
John the Divine wrote the Book of Revelation (the
Apocalypse). Because of this strong religious past,
Patmos has been only recently open to tourism. Fine
monasteries and churches, clean waters, golden sand
and authentic and traditional atmosphere are all
the beauties offered by Patmos.

The eastern coast of the island of Patmos has various
secluded coves and peaceful beaches offering their golden
sand or smooth pebbles and their crystalline waters to
the pleasure of the visitors. Some very well organised
beaches are also available, proposing all kinds of facilities
and rentals. The western coast is very rocky and mostly
inaccessible.
