Patmos Greece is one of the islands
of the Dodecanese. It is located at coordinates 37°19' N 26°30' E. Patmos has a strong religious past
because it is where Saint John the Divine had
its revelation and wrote the Apocalypse. Patmos
used to be an important place of pilgrimage and
belonged to the Church. From this unique past,
the impressive Monastery of Saint John and signs
prohibiting nude bathing and topless are remaining.

The eastern coast of Patmos Greece
is embellished with fine sandy or pebbled beaches with crystalline
and azure waters. Some of those beaches are secluded and almost
deserted, while others are organised and propose various facilities
and rentals. Tamarisk trees or impressive rocks are surrounding
some of those small paradises. Despite the many signs forbidding
nude bathing and topless, many beaches of Patmos are enjoyed
this way.
