Scuba Diving Tourism is being promoted

A few days ago, the local authorities of Leros and the Chamber of the Dodecanese presented a DVD to promote scuba diving tourism on the island. As it is known, the sea around Leros is full of beautiful plant and animal species, while many shipwrecks have been found in the area.
To get advantage of this beauty, the authorities of the island and the Dodecanese Chamber presented this DVD, entitled Leros... the Aegean Malta, as Winston Churchil had called the island, to get people informed of a new type of tourism that can be developed on this small island. While another type of tourism, diving tourism, is being promoted on Leros, the same thing happens with Kalymnos, where climbing tourism is being developed.
