Leros: Agia Marina Leros

Leros Villages: Agia Marina village in Leros Agia Marina Village Leros: Agia Marina forms, with Platanos and Pandeli, the capital of Leros. It is the second harbour of the island as well as its administrative and commercial centre. It is located on the eastern part of Leros, in its centre. The Roman fortress of Brouzi (or Prouzi) is standing on the port, inside an ancient city. Of other interest is the archaeological collection of Agia Marina as well as the churches of Christ the Saviour and the Holy Cross.

Agia Marina has recently become the main touristy resort of the island.It is very lively during summer time and has every thing to offer in terms of accommodations and touristy facilities.
