Leros is one of the islands that have not been spoilt yet from mass tourism. The most populated village on Leros is Agia Marina, while Lakki follows next.. Its main tourist area is Alinda, while other interesting villages are the fishing village of Pandeli, Vromolithos with its amazing beach, Gourna, Xirokambos, Partheni and Blefouti. The "Kastro tis Panagias", built in the 11th century, dominates the mount Apitiki over Platanos, where most of the public services are found along with the town-hall. The military museum is at Merkia, built in a tunnel of WW2.
 
:: Agia Marina

Location: Located 1 km northeast from Leros town
Description: It is the second harbour of the island as well as its administrative and commercial centre.Agia Marina has recently become the main touristy resort of the island.

:: Alinda

Location: Located 3 km northwest from Leros town
Description: It is a lovely village with traditional whitewashed houses and flowered narrow alleys. Various churches and monasteries are scattered in the area and worth visiting.

:: Pandeli

Location: Located 2 km southeast from Leros town
Description: It is a lovely whitewashed village with a population that is, in its majority, composed of fishermen. It has a few accommodations and some excellent taverns.

Pandeli village

:: Platanos

Location: Located east centrally from Leros Island
Description: It is the oldest capital of the island and is still its historical and cultural centre. It is a very picturesque settlement that has kept its traditional and authentic colours.
