Leros
far for being the liveliest island of the Aegean
and is not famous for its nightlife. Nevertheless,
the island has a few music bars, which are staying
open until morning during summer time. The low nightlife
of the island is concentrated at Agia Marina. The
most popular dancing bars are “Apothiki”, playing
Greek and international hits until

dawn and “Apocalypsi”
playing funk, soul and jazz until about 3 am.
On the front of the harbour of Agia Marina is the
“Savana Bar” run by English and attracting a yachting
crowd. The beach resort of Alinda, a few kilometres
north-west of the capital, has some clubs and bars
with international and traditional Greek music.
