Hidden beauty

Kos Review:
Maybe, like me, you will first find that Kos is not very attractive and lacks of authenticity in comparaison to other islands of the Dodecanese.
But if you are patient and curious you will soon discover that it is an island full of attractive and lovely spots. The verdant landscapes, the picturesque mountain villages, the wonderful beaches of various sizes and colours and the quite nooks will charm you.
We stayed a few days at the capital which is very lively and has a beautiful (pedestrian) historic centre with medieval architecture. The town is full of cafes, bars and night-clubs and becomes a hot spot at nights. Then we rented a room at the attractive Asfendiou and we took refreshing swims in the wonderful crystalline waters and sunbathed on soft golden sand. It was relaxing and revivifying?exactly what I needed.
