Karpathos Review:
Pigadia is the capital of Karpathos. Nice and small town. It was pretty much what I got through when I was surfing your pages and photos. And what I was looking for, certainly!! Not many inhabitants, I can say that the tourists were more than the permanent inhabitants of the island. However, good service at hotels and taverns. Tasty food and generally low prices, in comparison to other islands that we went after Karpathos, such as Rhodes and Kos which were more expensive. Certainly go, you will find plenty of quiet things to do. Swim in Ammopi, take the boat to go to
beaches around the island, walk to the pine-tree forest close to Pigadia and eat by the sea. Just one recommendation: make a open cinema in Pigadia. It would greatly fit to the vibe of the island.
