After promising a friend that we would visit Karpathos and have a drink there on his behalf, Linda and I did in June 2008. It was a long journey from Wales but one that was so worthwhile. On Karpathos, we spent most of our time in Lefkos. The attraction of this island for us was that there are no major "attractions". Just mountains, beaches, and authentic villages and people.
