Volada Village Karpathos: Volada is situated 2 km North-West of Aperi. It is a picturesque settlement built among trees, with traditional white-washed houses of typical Karpathian architecture, narrow alleys and balconies full of flowers. The ruins of three castles stand like guardians protecting the village. From the hill over the Volada, the view is breathtaking.
If you are fond of walking, then you will love the place, as before entering the village there are certain paths leading to the top of the mountain "Kali Limni" -meaning "Good Lake"- from where the view is rewarding.
