Karpathos Review:
We visited Karpathos this summer because we were invited in a wedding ceremony in Aperi, a small village. My niece was getting married in the traditional karpathian ceremony. The feast lasted for three days and nights and the bride had got dressed in the traditional costume, not a common white dress. It was just lovely!
I also loved the island, pretty quiet despite the tourists. The village of Olympia is a must see and I thoroughly enjoyed the view of the islet opposite Pigadia. I also liked swimming and driving through the mountains, it was a nice experience. I just advise you to book early because many people go to Karpathos in July and August.
