Saria, the small rocky islet close to Karpathos, is a beautiful excursion to take on Karpathos. There is a boat that goes from Pigadia to Saria many times a day. There you can see some old ruins and hike against the touch paths. Landscape on Saria is very difficult to hike, so better wear trainers, not scandals because your feet might get injured. If you stand on top of the islet, you can see a wonderful view. Swimming is difficult on Saria because beaches are too hard.
