Karpathos Scuba Diving

Only recently scuba diving in Karpathos started to develop, as this activity was not allowed in the environmental marine park around Karpathos and Kassos. But after a legislation change in 2006, divers are now able to explore the fantastic reefs with rich marine life, the old shipwrecks, and the underwater caverns. In fact, in these Karpathos diving trips, divers have high chances to see the rare species of the Mediterranean monk seal.

Important Karpathos diving sites are the Labirynth, the Achata Arch, the Camel Reef, Vronti Caves and the wreck of MS Dias. Some of these diving spots in Karpathos are only for advanced divers, while others are accessible to all levels.

Here are some diving centers in Karpathos. Each diving center is presented with detailed text, photos, and a point on Google map. If you have visited any of these diving centers, feel free to write your review. All request forms are sent directly to the diving center manager so that you can book a diving course with them or ask any question.
