The beautiful church of Agios Savvas is located on top of a hill, 2 km south of Pothia, so it offers amazing view to the town and the port. It is made of stone in the shape of cross and has round domes.

This castle was built by the Knights of Saint John and it is also called the Citadel of the Knights. A little chapel to Panagia Chrysochera is found in the castle, which is located on a hill above Pothia.
