Kalymnos Beaches: Kantouni beach in Kalymnos Greece Kantouni Beach Kalymnos: The long sandy beach of Kantouni is located about 5 kilometres north-west of Pothia, at a short walking distance from Panormos. It is the favourite beach of the locals and can get quiet crowded sometimes. The beautiful monastery of the Cross overlooks the beach. Accommodations, taverns and cafes surround the beach, while more can be found in the village of Panormos, also called Elies. The bus departing from Pothia stops regularly at Kantouni.
