 Means of transport on Halki are very limited as the island is tiny and has no public transport. There are no buses on Halki or car rental agencies. There is only one taxi at the port and it goes to specific destinations (Ftenagia beach, Potamos beach, Chorio and Monastery of Agios Ioannis).
The central road of Halki is asphaulted but at some parts it gets windy and track. You are adviced to use a motorbike rather than a car to move in Halki, while walking is the most frequent way to get around. |
