Astypalea is blessed with moderate, temperate climate. Here you can enjoy warm pleasant weather during summers and mild dry weather during winters.
Winters are not particularly strong.
During the period from July to October it is quite hot.
The beautiful weather in Astypalea is thanks to Meltemi wind that helps moderate the climate. This keeps the island cool at most times, even as the strong Greek sun beats down on it. The best season to visit the island is during spring and early in the summer.
